Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients
- 2 regular-size packages OR 1 family-size package macaroni
and cheese
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2-3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 0.5 cups bread crumbs or crushed butter crackers
(e.g., Ritz® crackers)
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Prepare macaroni and cheese in large pot as directed on
package (make sure to use any notes for doubling the
recipe).
- While macaroni is cooking, place butter into a
microwave-safe dish and cook on high until melted. Add
crumbs into melted butter one tablespoon at a time and mix
well. Keep adding crumbs until the mixture is crumbly. Set
aside.
- When macaroni is done according to directions on the box,
Stir in milk and mozzarella into pot with macaroni.
- Spoon macaroni mix into lightly-greased 9x13 baking
dish.
- Spread the butter-crumb topping evently over the top of the
macaroni. Place baking dish into the oven and cook for 20
minutes or until heated through.
