Marinated Flank Steak




  1. In a medium bowl, mix oil, soy sauce, vinegar, lemon juice, Worchestershire sauce, mustard, garlic, and pepper. Place meat in a large plastic bag and pour marinade over the meat. Seal the bag and place in the refrigerator (wise move: place the bag inside a container to catch leaks, if any) for at least six hours and up to one day.
  2. Preheat grill for medium-high heat.
  3. Lightly oil the grill grates with canola oil. Place steak on the grill and discard the marinade. Grill meat for 3-5 minutes per side or to desired level of doneness.
  4. When done cooking, place the steak on a cutting board or plate and cover loosely with aluminum foil. Let rest 5 minutes, then slice into strips against the grain and serve immediately.
