Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients
- 2 pounds cubed beef stew meat
- 2 10.75-oz cans condensed golden mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup chopped onion (optional)
- 1/2 cup low-sodium beef broth
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, divided
- 4 tbsp diced fresh garlic, divided
- 2 tbsp black pepper, divided
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 2 oz cream cheese
- 1/3 cup sour cream
Directions:
- Add meat, soup, onion, broth and half of all the spices (Worchestershire sauce,
garlic, pepper, bouillon, onion soup mix) to the slow cooker. Cook on low for
four hours.
- At the four hour mark, add remaining spices and cook one additional hour.
- Just before serving, add cream cheese and sour cream to the slow cooker and mix well.
Serve over cooked egg noodles or rice.
Notes:
- This recipe doubles nicely in a large slow cooker (minimum 5 quarts) for a full
week's worth of leftovers.
