Slow Cooker Pork Ribs

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F/200°C.
  2. Season ribs with salt and pepper. Place in a baking pan large enough to easily accomodate the ribs. Brown in oven for 30 minutes, turning once at the halfway mark. Drain fat.
  3. Place ribs into the slow cooker. Pour BBQ sauce over the ribs so that the ribs are 1/4-1/2 covered in sauce. Add garlic powder, Worcestshire, and red pepper flakes to the sauce.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on high for four hours or low for six to eight hours, stirring every 30-60 minutes to prevent the meat from burning or sticking. One hour before serving, add salt and pepper to taste.
